I wrote a respectful objection to the instructor the the Behavior class in question. (Yes, in spite of the irreverence of my posts I can be respectful. :P) I'll wait and see if anything comes of it.
The most ridiculous part is that you're grading your friend. So if people cheat at everything else, why not cheat and give your friend a good grade regardless of what they wrote?
Long story short, she wrote back saying "Let's see how it goes. I have taken your objection under advisement." followed by "Also, please let me know if you have any alternative ideas." ten minutes later.
Let's just say it was tricky coming up with a polite way to say that my suggestion is she grade the assignments. Nothing will change, but at least I didn't bottle up my frustration like usual and do nothing about it.
